Slow/eco-filming
Eco driving is a way of driving that reduces fuel consumption, greenhouse gas emissions and accident rates. Rubin media are doing it’s best in order to reduce and fuel consumption and reduce other negative causes for our nature. Rubin media is also trying to achieve the slow movements “tiempo guisto” goal, to get as much done with as little stress for the people, nature and animals as possible. 080317

Evening news paper - installation

Aktion G13 - tårgas
During the action “G13” for a new youth house in Copenhagen, Denmark, Rubin media was filming news material for Swedish media. As a result of the police decision to attack a peaceful demonstration I was one of their many objects who got teargas in my eyes and nose at four occasions. 071007

Chronicles has been written for the culture news paper “Tidningen Kulturen”. I don’t know the exact number of chronicles that has been put in print by the paper version of the news paper but I have seen two, might be some more. 070508

Klimax
Rubin media has had conversations together with the climate organization Klimax about and eventual documentary project. Dates were planed in order to start filming this project but Fredrik Rubin canceled the project. The lack of belief in their actions was the reason. I still support them in their actions an welcome any struggle for a better environment. 080225
Nilla Nielsen - canceled
Sing and song writer Nilla Nielsen new album was about be in stores during the spring 2008. Nilla contacted Rubin media and ask for a music video for her up coming single track. After negotiations the cooperation’s where canceled buy Fredrik Rubin. I which Nilla al the best of luck. 071110

Björn Ranelid
Rubin media has been negotiating together with Swedish writer Björn Ranelid. Plans to start filming a bigger project was almost finished as Fredrik Rubin canceled this project according to a “gutfeeling”. Fredrik Rubin ask Björn Ranelid for his forgiveness. 070810

Rubin media is a one-man film company located in Malmö. Its strength in documentary filmmaking is with out any doubts the ability to use a social realistic story telling threw out al productions made. Also, Rubin media does not hesitate to make a stand and say no to any projects because of its ethical and human believes.
A cooperation together with the Swedish actress Regina Lund has resulted in two separate documentary film projects which takes a lot of my creative time. This might result in me not being able to work with you. Although I’m always curious about new projects and I am always interested in meeting new creative people.
